This highly detailed 3D model provides a comprehensive view of the essential structures within epithelial tissue, making it perfect for educators, medical students, and healthcare professionals. It offers a clear and realistic visualization of the various layers and components of human skin.
What’s Included:
Hair Follicles: Structures housing the hair and showcasing their interaction with sebaceous glands.
Sebaceous Glands: Responsible for producing sebum, crucial for skin lubrication and protection.
Sweat Glands: Essential for sweat production and vital for body temperature regulation.
Nerve Endings: Key for skin sensitivity, including the perception of touch and pain.
Blood Vessels: Including arteries and veins, providing nutrients and oxygen to the skin layers.
Skin Layers: Displays the three main layers of the skin—epidermis, dermis, and hypodermis—meticulously detailed for a full understanding of skin structure and function.
This model is ideal for high-quality printing, offering an indispensable educational and visual tool for the in-depth study of epithelial tissue. Whether for classroom demonstrations, lab work, or professional presentations, this model provides a deep understanding of the complexities of human skin.

3D printing settings
Here are the recommended settings for printing with ABS using the Orca Slicer:
Print Settings:
- Layer Height: 0.1 - 0.2 mm (depending on the desired detail level)
- Wall Thickness: 1.2 - 2.0 mm (3 - 5 perimeters)
- Top/Bottom Thickness: 1.2 - 2.0 mm (4 - 8 layers)
Infill:
- Infill Density: 15% - 30% (higher density for stronger parts)
- Infill Pattern: Grid or Gyroid for balanced strength and stability
Print Speed:
- Print Speed: 40 - 60 mm/s
- First Layer Speed: 20 - 30 mm/s for better adhesion
Temperature Settings:
- Nozzle Temperature: 230°C - 250°C
- Bed Temperature: 90°C - 110°C
- Chamber Temperature: 50°C - 60°C (if available)
Cooling:
- Fan Speed: 0% - 20% (keep it low to avoid warping)
Bed Adhesion:
- Adhesion Type: Brim or Raft
- Adhesive: ABS slurry or specialized adhesive sheet
Retraction Settings:
- Retraction Distance: 1.5 - 2.0 mm
- Retraction Speed: 25 - 40 mm/s
Advanced:
- Z Hop: Enable Z-hop on retraction to prevent scratches (0.2 mm)
- Coasting: Enable to avoid stringing (0.2 mm before the end of a path)
Post-Processing:
- Enclosure: Use an enclosure to maintain a stable temperature and minimize warping.
These settings should give you a solid starting point for printing with ABS on the Orca Slicer, ensuring strong and precise results.
