3D printer file info

3D model description

Recommended materials are PLA, PETG (for the mechanical parts) and stainless-steel fasteners, it has about 35 distinct components and the floating display stand included. The components are assembled with M3 and M5 fasteners, the double action needs 2 springs to work properly, or rubber bands can be used (see pictures).

All parts are printable on a Prusa MK3, Ender 3 or similar printer.

Type of fasteners that should be used:
- 17 x M3x8 hex allen key, used for holding together smaller components and moving parts that should not be screwed too tight, just enough for them to move freely
- 2 x M5x10 hex allen key,used to hold the butt and the cylinder
- 1 x M5x30 hex allen key, used to hold cylinder lever to the frame
- 2 x M5x8 flat head, used to hold the grips

Two 5x20 mm extension springs are required for the double action, although similar sizes will also work or even small rubber bands.

3D printing settings

Mechanical parts within the double action mechanism should be printed in PETG for durability.

All other parts can be printed with PLA.

The finished model from the pictures has been printed on a Prusa MK3S.
