The Sea Widow is the perfect introduction to the world of twin EDF jets! This model impresses with its thoughtful design and straightforward construction, making it easy for beginners to assemble and fly.

Weight without Lipo: 550-650g depends on the LW-PLA

The build is very simple and pretty much self-explanatory! You can find the print parameters on the website www.SODYs3D.com.

One tip: Position the ESC as far back as possible in the fuselage and use an extension cable for the battery. This way, you can also fly with standard (over 190g) 4S2200 batteries.

It’s best to cover the underside with tape if the grass isn’t too tall!

3D printing settings

• LW-PLA Parts: Print all LW-PLA parts (winglets and canards) with 5% infill for winglets and canards, 3% gyroid infill for other parts. Use 1 wall, 2 bottom layers, and 4 top layers.
If you Use Orca Slicer, use 2D Lattice Infill 3% for the Wings!
• PLA/PETG/ASA/ABS (CF): Use materials of your choice. My recommendation is at least 2 wall lines, 15-25% grid infill, and more for landing gear components.
• TPU Tires: Print tires with 2 walls and 12-15% gyroid infill.
