3D model description
I made a moving killer whale toy. The models are printed without stands. You can print these killer whales in different colors using multi-color equipment or print the models separately in different colors on any printer and assemble them using glue.I added the STL and 3MF files for Bambu Lab.
Model Description
The STL Body is the body of the killer whale. It can be printed in one color or the first 5-10 layers can be white and the remaining layers black.
The STL Connector is the connector that is needed to connect the body to the head. You will need glue for assembly.
STL Eyes are the eyes of the killer whale. You can print it in white and the pupils of the eyes in black. To print the pupils of the eyes black, change the color of the material on the last two layers (the height of the layer should be 200 microns).
STL Full Body is a killer whale body for multicolor printing. If you have equipment for multicolor printing you can paint the killer whale body in a slicer and print it multicolored.
STL Full head is the head of the killer whale for multicolor printing. If you have multi-color printing equipment you can paint the killer whale head in a slicer and print it in multi-color or print it in one color.
STL Head is the head of the killer whale. It is a head without the jaw, eyes and white spots. You can print the rest of the pieces in a different color and glue them to the head.
STL White is the jaw and white spots of the killer whale head. You can print them in white or any other color and glue them to the killer whale head.
You will need to use glue for assembly.
Some models have a small first layer area, so I recommend not using a textured plate, a smooth plate is best.
If your models come off the table, use 3D glue for better adhesion of the first layer to the table. You can also use brim for better adhesion of the model to the table.
Brief assembly instructions:
If you don't have multicolor equipment to print in different colors you will have to print the eyes separately and glue them to the head.

Glue the lower jaw to the head of the killer whale.

Glue the white spots to the head.

Use the connector to glue the head to the body.

If the first layers are too wide to the body parts, use a knife to remove the chamfer.

If you have chosen models for multicolor printing on equipment like AMS, MMU, etc. you will need to glue the head to the body with a connector.
